Special Group has welcomed in its newest member in the form of Storm Day. Now the head of account service, Day has made the move from one of New Zealand’s most popular brands, Lewis Road Creamery.
Moving from her role as marketing director, Day joins the Special Group team with experience exporting to international markets such as China and the US. The role head of account service is a newly created one as Day will now be responsible for leading Special’s team on the global Tourism New Zealand account as well as leading the entire Account Service Department.
Day says although it was difficult for her to leave her position at Lewis Road, the work that Special Group is executing was too much of a call for her to pass on.
“The ‘Good Morning World’ campaign for Tourism New Zealand is world-class, they are working on some of the biggest and most interesting marketing challenges in the country, and their trans-Tasman offering is second to none. I believe in building strong relationships to accelerate positive change and I am passionate about driving business growth with innovation and creativity. Storytelling and brand building are always at the heart of what I do and I will continue to evolve these skills that I have developed and learnt from the best creative storytellers in advertising and marketing.”
