AA Insurance is pleased to announce the permanent appointment of Shaun Rees to the role of Chief Product and Marketing Officer.
Rees brings extensive experience across the NZ consumer services landscape, with senior leadership roles at Frank Energy and Genesis Energy, ANZ and Prudential Assurance UK among his multi-sector career.
AA Insurance Chief Executive Officer, Michelle James said, “We are delighted to welcome Shaun to the team. His experience and purpose-centric leadership style is particularly relevant for us as we evolve to meet the challenges and opportunities we face as an insurer in a changing world.”
Rees said, “Throughout my career, I have always strived to achieve excellent outcomes for customers, and I am excited to join AA Insurance at such a pivotal time for the brand and the insurance industry generally.
“I am particularly looking forward to applying my experience in proposition development, digital innovation, and sustainability to support Michelle and the wider team to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead of us.”
Rees joined AA Insurance in an acting capacity in late 2023, his permanent appointment is effective from February 28.
