The Faces of our Industry: Sharee Campbell

Here at StopPress, we care about your industry and like you, want to see it thrive.

With that in mind, we’ve teamed up with the Commercial Communications Council to bring you The Faces of Our Industry, a video series showcasing you guys.

By putting individuals and their stories in the spotlight, we’re hoping to reinforce the need for greater diversity in the industry and the benefits it can have.

StopPress and NZ Marketing editor Erin McKenzie says during her time with StopPress, she’s seen many headlines calling for greater diversity so is excited to flip that conversation on its head to showcase the diversity that does exist.

As well as showing agencies the need for greater diversity, McKenzie also hopes it will serve to inspire and encourage people to join the industry.

Comms Council Inclusiveness & Diversity Group Chair Megan Clark says “the Comms Council is committed to championing the benefits to all in diversity on creative thinking and delivering commercial outcomes, along with helping member agencies develop greater diversity at all levels. Therefore, we were delighted that StopPress wanted to partner with us to bring to life the idea of celebrating personal stories of diversity in our industry. StopPress and our interviewees have taken this project on with such passion and enthusiasm. I’m sure that you will be inspired by the journeys that will be shared in the months ahead”.

The second video in the series, we talk to Sharee Campbell, human resources manager at Dentsu Aegis Network, about what Dentsu is doing to create a diverse and inclusive environment. We hear how she’s been supported as a single mum and what clients are looking for in the teams of their agency partners.

Stay tuned for more videos. We look forward to hearing your stories.
