Mānuka Phuel to sponsor live music fusion event Full Metal Orchestra
Kiwi energy drink Mānuka Phuel has announced its sponsorship of Full Metal Orchestra, a live event that brings together rock and metal music with 29-piece orchestra and a five-piece band.
Full Metal Orchestra is being brought to Spark Arena in Auckland on July 26 by Duco Touring and Liberty Stage. The event will be conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams and produced by award-winning hitmaker Jol Mulholland.
Metal anthems and classical arrangements
Expect metal anthems from the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and AC/DC, alongside orchestral arrangements, guitars, vocals and visuals.
“This partnership embodies a shared dedication to innovation, high-energy and pushing creative limits, delivering an unforgettable and epic musical experience that will phuel the mind and body,” says Alex McDonald, co-creator, Mānuka Phuel.
“After the global success of SYNTHONY, the question was: what’s next? The answer was obvious – rock and metal,” says David Higgins, founder of Duco Touring. “We’ve always believed great things happen when worlds collide, and Full Metal Orchestra is proof.”
Simone Williams, director of Liberty Stage, adds, “This is the dream setlist for metalheads, elevated with full-scale orchestral production. It’s going to shake Auckland to its core.”
