Air New Zealand brings new meaning to the term snowball with a very special conversion

Air New Zealand is crazy about rugby. And, given the number of Aussies that come to New Zealand for the snow, it’s also quite a big fan of skiing. Now, with the help of Host Sydney and Diaries Downunder, it’s combined the two in spectacular fashion as part of its online video campaign ‘Meanwhile in… New Zealand’.

The Meanwhile in campaign riffs on a popular meme that uses images to describe the idiosyncrasies of various countries. And the first instalment celebrated the welcome arrival of the white stuff with a spot of synchronised snow sliding on Isobel Glacier.

And it followed that up with a very bromantic alpine dinner.

Diaries Downunder, a boutique production company based in Queenstown, specialises in action sports and digital marketing targeted at the youth market. Its core product ‘Diaries Downunder’ is a youth based production sponsored by Air New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand.
