Remix magazine introduces new senior editor

The team at Remix magazine are excited to introduce editorial and content leader Anna Lee as senior editor.

The news was announced via the magazine’s Instagram channel on June 25, with Lee’s appointment effective from August 10.

Lee has built a successful career across fashion and lifestyle media both in Aotearoa and internationally. She has spent the last four years at Are Media as lifestyle editor of New Zealand Woman’s Weekly, before expanding her role to also become beauty editor across Australian Woman’s Weekly NZ, Woman’s Day and New Zealand Woman’s Weekly. Before that, she held roles with The Health Media, Canberra Weekly and Viva Magazine.

“Anna has made her name in beauty and lifestyle publications and I couldn’t be more excited to see her extend that into fashion, design, luxury and everything else Remix has to offer,” says Remix publisher Tim Phin in the Instagram post.

Exceptional taste

Lee tells StopPress she is looking forward to her new role with the Remix team, saying the publication has always been a brand with exceptional taste.

“Not just in fashion, culture and luxury, but in the stories it tells, the people it champions and the conversations it shapes. It has a distinctive editorial identity and a rare ability to anticipate what’s next, setting the agenda across fashion, beauty, culture and design while celebrating creativity in all its forms.”

She adds that Remix is a truly modern media brand, where the magazine offers a curated and immersive experience to readers while digital and social channels extend those stories to engage with audiences in new ways.

“I’m excited to build on the brand’s legacy as a tastemaker while helping shape its next chapter.”
