More FM Canterbury and Crusaders celebrate 30-year partnership with new campaign

More FM Canterbury has has launched a new campaign celebrating 30 years of partnership with the Crusaders.

Titled ‘Teammates since 1996’, the creative has been developed by Plato and honours three decades of loyalty between the station and the rugby club.

The campaign marks a milestone in Canterbury sport, coinciding with the Crusaders’ new home opening at One New Zealand Stadium during Super Round 2026.

Embody the spirit of teamwork

At the heart of the campaign are More FM Breakfast hosts Lana Searle and Simon Barnett, alongside Crusaders players David Havili, Antonio Shalfoon and Fletcher Newell.

Together, they embody the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that has united the brand and the club across generations of fans.

“This partnership with More FM means a lot to us,” says Colin Mansbridge, CEO of the Crusaders.

“Thirty years doesn’t happen by accident. It’s been built on a genuine connection with our community, a shared love for rugby and a real commitment to Crusaders fans. To celebrate that milestone as we head into Super Round, and as we open the doors to One New Zealand Stadium, makes it even more special.”

The campaign rolls out across multiple platforms in Canterbury, celebrating not just the longevity of the relationship, but the people and moments that have made it special – from unforgettable matches to community initiatives and everything in between.

Crusaders and MediaWorks, with More FM as the lead brand, are also proud to have entered a new three-year partnership from the kickoff of the DHL Super Rugby 2026 season.
