Coke on guard against first world addiction

Coca-Cola has been solving first world problems, like after lunch slumber attacks, with sugary caffeinated beverages since ages ago. And it's now tackling another one: social media addiction.

A new video that shows a less than serious side to the brand proposes humans overcome their compulsion to watch lolcats and post updates by using the lampshade-like device vets put on dogs to stop them biting out stitches.

If you can get past the insult of being likened to a dog, you might find it useful. Although it seems you could still tap out a post if you were lying down, or could dangle your phone from the top edge of the plastic on a string, Aussie cork hat style. We'll leave that thought with you.
