Host of cliches used to draw attention to TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards

Starburst!® Time is running out to ensure eternal glory at this year's TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards. But wait there's more!™ Avoid a lifetime of bitter regret and get your work in front of the judges by Friday 20 May. Entry forms and a full list of all categories are available for ten easy payments of www.nzmarketingawards.co.nz

Now in their twentieth year, and following on from a record number of entries last year, the awards continue to recognise excellence in the business of marketing. TVNZ once again heads the list of sponsors, including new additions Pacific Micromarketing (Marketer of the Year) and BrandWorld (Fast Moving Consumer Goods Marketing).

Also new for 2011 is the Public Sector Marketing Award, an award open solely to government departments and state-owned enterprise where profit is not necessarily the main measure of success.

The Export Marketing Award is also back for its second year and, with the added expertise of award sponsor, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, the requirements have been refined to further highlight its international marketing focus.

The Judges’ Choice Awards (Innovation in Marketing, Most Authentic Brand, Sustainability, and Transformational Marketing) are now open to all category award entrants, as opposed to exclusively to finalists. And a change that is significant to all consumer marketing entrants involves the merging of the Consumer Durables and Consumer Services categories to create a holistic and aptly named category, the Consumer Marketing Award.

Simply the best: The prestigious Purple Pin winners of the 2018 Best Awards

From a calming, machine-learning led interactive experience at Starship Children’s Hospital, to the story of a goat that acts as anti-bullying initiative and teaches children the effect their actions can have, the best in New Zealand design was crowned at the 2018 Best Awards on the weekend – and a discussion about gender equality in design has been brought to the industry's attention. Here are the supreme winners, and a statement from the Designers Institute of New Zealand (DINZ) CEO Cathy Veninga on the protests that took place.
