YoungGuns go off as two new categories announced

Entries for the 10th YoungGuns awards are now open, so if you’re under 30 and you’re already delivering awesome ideas that are “challenging and changing the way communication is done”, get in there for a chance to be recognised as the best emerging creative talent in the world—and to have your place of employ recognised as a supporter of the yoof.

Head here and click on the banner down the bottom to enter the advertising, digital and student sections (good to see Instant Kiwi’s Doug and Mexi-Doug representing on the YoungGuns site). Also, keep an eye out for the two new awards in 2010, the YoungGuns PR and YoungGuns Design, which will open for entry on 14 July.

The whippersnappers from Colenso ended up coming third in the world after last year’s prizes were handed out, winning six of the 11 awards that were handed out to New Zealand agencies, including the country’s only gold and silver bullets.

Entries close on 30 September and winners will be announced on 4 December.
