Witness the burning of the Biebs

You don’t have to look far to find a joke about Justin Bieber. Just about everyone has dropped a line about the tantrum-prone singer. And given the enjoyment people derive from laughing at the expense of the baby-faced one, Comedy Central has organised an official roast of the Biebs.

Hosted by ‘Roast Master’ Kevin Hart, this year’s Comedy Central Roast will happen in Los Angeles, which means that most Kiwis won’t be able to see the action in person. However, to ensure that there are at least some Kiwi laughs thrown into the mix, Sky Television is currently hosting a competition on Facebook that gives one lucky Kiwi the chance to take a friend along to the event on 14 March.

Previous Comedy Central roastees include James Franco, Denis Leary, Jeff Foxworthy, Pamela Anderson, William Shatner, Flavor Flav and Bob Saget.

The Comedy Central Roast Of Justin Bieber will be executive produced by Joel Gallen from Tenth Planet Productions, who also served as Executive Producer and Director of the Comedy Central Roasts of James Franco, Charlie Sheen, and Donald Trump, as well as the Emmy-nominated Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner.

Those who miss out on the flight to the event will be able to catch the action on Sky’s Channel 015 on Thursday, 2 April at 8.30pm.
