Want a taste of the great outdoors?

Jeep’s marketing has long promoted its cars as a mode of escape for city dwellers looking to escape the concrete jungle. However, do people really know what the great outdoors is like?

To find out how hungry people are for adventure, Jeep and its agency Leo Burnett Berlin, served up some outdoor themed snacks.

Featuring roasted black scorpion, grilled tarantula and mealworms, the ‘snacks’ were placed in vending machines around shopping malls, railway stations, car parks, outdoor stores and Jeep Showrooms.

Those who were brave enough to give the snacks a try won a Jeep off-road training and if they found the creatures particularly appetising, they could order the snacks online.
