VMO signs contract with New Zealand Retail Property Group
VMO is expanding its retail network after signing an contract with New Zealand Retail Property Group.
The agreement will see VMO appointed as the outdoor media partner for multiple destinations across Auckland’s Westgate Town Centre and Milford Centre, and Tauranga’s Fraser Cove Shopping Centre.
VMO New Zealand commercial director Rob Forsyth says, “Our retail network has seen unprecedented growth over the course of the past year and this strategic partnership with NZRPG across their premium retail environments builds on this momentum.
“We are continuing to expand our reach into areas of Auckland, like Westgate Town Centre and Milford, which are hugely important locations in the retail day to day journeys of consumers in New Zealand’s largest city.”
Continued evolution
Westgate is the metropolitan hub for Auckland’s rapidly expanding North West region. As part of the partnership, VMO will install its path-to-purchase network within Westgate Shopping Centre, anchored by Woolworths, The Warehouse, Chemist Warehouse, Nike, and Event Cinemas. The network will also be deployed across four additional retail environments within the wider town development.
A mix of indoor and outdoor screens will also be rolled out at Milford Centre and Fraser Cove Shopping Centre.
NZRPG marketing manager Jessica Joblin says, “This partnership with VMO reflects the continued evolution of our centres as leading retail destinations. We are pleased to support the rollout of their digital network across Westgate Town Centre, Milford Centre and Fraser Cove Shopping Centre, strengthening how brands engage with customers in-centre.
“As our portfolio continues to grow across key metropolitan catchments, partnerships like this ensure we continue to enhance the performance, connectivity and experience of our retail environments for both tenants and brand partners.”
Val Morgan New Zealand sales director Matt Tremain adds: “Securing NZRPG’s portfolio is a significant win, strengthening our footprint and expanding our reach across Auckland and Tauranga, while giving brands more direct and powerful access to connect with these audiences.”
