VMG Digital, a provider of customised video creative solutions, has revealed its acquisition of Mish Guru, a Kiwi-born software company specialising in helping brands to thrive on vertical social platforms.
This move marks a significant milestone for both companies, enabling them to offer clients comprehensive solutions for their social marketing needs.
Mish Guru was founded in 2014 to help brands capitalise on the shift to mobile first content consumption, and was the first platform in the world to dedicate to Snapchat Marketing. As a result the company built the playbook on what a brand presence on the platform could look like with ephemeral content.
VMG Digital, based in Auckland, specialises in inspiring connections between brands and people through bespoke video creative.
Effective immediately, this acquisition enhances VMG Group’s capabilities and allows the company to offer a comprehensive suite of services that covers the entire spectrum of social marketing needs.

Harding will be joining the VMG Digital team in the role of Director of Product working to continue to develop the platform into the Meta suite of products as well as TikTok.
