Tobacco companies be like…

Following on from its last campaign ‘It’s a trap’ where Truth pointed out that social smoking is still smoking, it is again pointing out the obvious, showing that if people continue to buy cigarettes, tobacco companies continue to roll in the money.

The organisation has released three TVCs featuring young people and their excuses for why they smoke which range from how they plan to quit after leaving college, to how they only smoke when they party, to the fact they only smoke “with the squad”.

But then big tobacco companies ‘be like’ bathing in rivers of cash money.

The message then appears, “Don’t get played while tobacco companies get paid”.

Truth’s previous campaign attempted to call out social smokers and get them to quit in a funny ad featuring a bunch of famous internet memes about how ‘It’s a trap’.
