Skype dials up a taste of Kiwi

Skype’s Stay Together campaign tells the stories of long distance chums who keep in touch using Skype — and the latest story makes New Zealand the star of the show, thanks to an Aucklander called Paige.

Paige and her friend Sarah were each born with a partial left arm and Skyped for eight years before the Microsoft-owned communications giant arranged for them to meet in person and get the whole experience on camera.

To remind American viewers Paige lives in New Zealand, the first shot is of a sheep-filled paddock and later the girls meet on a rugged beach.
