Self parking chair?

The solution to a cluttered office is here, with Nissan creating a self parking office chair inspired by the park assist feature on its cars.

The ‘Intelligent Parking Chair’ looks like a regular office chair but an electric motor base gives it a 360 degree range of motion.

By installing cameras into each room and creating a virtual map, the chair will return to its desired position under a desk with a clap of the hands –  just in case you were too lazy to do it yourself.

While an office without a scatter of chairs sounds ideal, it’s slightly concerning we may lose yet another basic human ability to technology.
