Samsung Galaxy A8 celebrates flaws and beauty

For its Galaxy A8 campaign Samsung undertook a social experiment; with a young woman asking to take strangers photos as she explains the purpose of her project is to record things she finds beautiful.

Peoples’ stunned and emotional reactions to her explanation – such as “I don’t get called that, that often” and “I have to learn to accept my quirks” – capture an authentic moment, while the ad itself shows off the ability of the Galaxy A8 camera.

With the tagline ‘It lets you be you’ the ad taps into Generation Z’s acceptance of individuality, flaws and personality.
