Longtime client New Zealand King Salmon has extended its appointment to full-service Freemans Bay indie Republik to lead and manage its social media and other holistic media activity in the United States.
The account was previously held by Denver-based agency, Booyah Advertising.
“We been exporting and developing the US retail market for the past three years and we’re only just scratching the surface. This is a huge growth opportunity for us, and we need to get our brand and product range in front of as many American ‘foodies’ as possible.
“Through years of experience, the team at Republik know and understand our business better than most. We saw huge value in harnessing their brand and product knowledge, combining that with their expertise in SEM and Social Media strategy, implementation and management… We’re a month into it and the results are speaking for themselves,” says Sahra Cliffe, Global Marketing Manager at New Zealand King Salmon.
Republik’s Head of Digital, Matt Lyne comments: “The US is such a vast and scalable market, it presents an incredible opportunity for Regal Salmon to really drive exponential growth in both brand recognition and sales. To be given the opportunity to help consolidate all media efforts over there, with a real focus on digital channels is something we were always itching to have a piece of. Our team has put together a powerful data-led strategy, of which the door opened to us off the back of sustained success for NZKS in the local market. It’s great that we can offer Regal Salmon our full breadth of offering, taking in Search and Social Media management, through to website optimisation and holistic programmatic trading.
Republik Director, Paul McNamara adds: “This is a great opportunity for our Digital and Social Media Team. We were excited to get the call up. It’s a privilege to be able to promote such a great brand and quality product to consumers across the other side of the world. Decerning Americans are proving that they can’t get enough of the superior tasting New Zealand King Salmon from Regal.”
