NZME has appointed long-time MediaWorks marketer Katie Mills as the new chief marketing officer.
NZME chief executive Michael Boggs says Mills is not just results-oriented but passionate about her work.

Mills has a strong background in brand building, vision and market strategy. She will move into the job after nearly two years at Aspire2 as group marketing director.
No stranger to media, Mills spent 15 years in senior roles at MediaWorks, including as head of brand and marketing. At MediaWorks, Mills led a team of more than 30 marketers and delivered annual marketing and brand strategies for television, radio and digital entertainment platforms. She was also responsible for the marketing campaign for the launch of Newshub.
Mills will lead the brand and communications, internal communications, trade marketing and partnerships teams at NZME when she commences her role in December.
