Nissan Saudi Arabia surprises with special driving lessons

Following the historic decision in September last year to allow Saudi Arabian women to drive, Nissan Saudi Arabia surprised a group of women with driving lessons – with a special twist. 

In the ad, the women explain how being able to drive would make them more confident and empowered, and how their male family members are resistance to change. Then each woman goes for their first driving lesson with the very person—father, brother or husband—who disapproved of the concept.

As with any first-time lesson, there are nerves and laughter, close calls and big smiles. Nissan has created a heart-warming and funny video that will have a little part in history once the decision becomes legal in June.
