New website launched to support Taranaki’s refreshed bus network
A new website has launched alongside Taranaki’s refreshed bus network Te Pahi Taranaki.
Built by Somar Digital for Taranaki Regional Council, the platform has been launched to support the rollout of the new network and give passengers a simple and user-friendly way to access bus information.
It brings together the tools people need to plan journeys, check real-time bus information and view service alerts.
A versatile tool
The site includes route and timetable information, real-time bus tracking, service alerts, favourites, filtering, customisable timetables and geolocation to help users find nearby stops.
With a mobile-first design, it makes it easier for passengers to find the information they need, whether they are planning ahead or checking details while on the move.
The website also provides the council with a flexible and efficient platform for managing public transport information, helping ensure service details remain accurate, current and easy to access.
