Independent Media Agencies New Zealand is welcoming The Spinoff on board as a dedicated media partner.
The two organisations say the partnership reflects a shared focus on agility, local insight and effectiveness in a fast-moving media environment.
IMANZ CEO Simon Teagle says having one of Aotearoa’s most innovative independent voices join the community is a massive win for the indie sector.
“Their strong local voice, engaged audiences and commitment to collaboration will add real value for our agency members, particularly as the industry continues to evolve toward more agile and insight-led planning,” says Teagle.
Building stronger relationships
The Spinoff says the move is centred on building stronger relationships with independent agencies and making it easier for planners and buyers to access timely audience insights, upcoming content and commercial opportunities.
Through the partnership, The Spinoff aims to increase transparency and visibility across its platform, enabling agencies to better plan, activate and optimise campaigns in market.
A key focus will be strengthening feedback loops between publishers and agencies to support more responsive, collaborative outcomes.
“We’re really excited to be joining IMANZ and getting closer to the independent agency community,” says The Spinoff’s head of commercial Elisa Rivera.
“This partnership gives us a more direct way to share what we’re seeing in market, surface opportunities earlier, and work more collaboratively with agencies to build campaigns that genuinely perform.”
Doubling down on local
The Spinoff says it connects with some of the most engaged digital audiences in Aotearoa, with readers spending an average of over 15 minutes per session on platform.
In a LinkedIn post announcing the news, IMANZ says that The Spinoff is doubling down on its local-for-local approach.
“The Spinoff doesn’t just tell stories, they drive action through tailored, multi-platform campaigns,” says IMANZ.
