Making friends and Facebooking people

Back when we had friends in the real world, random, joyful and useful gatherings were the sort of thing that happened through chance meetings or an old fashioned phone call. Now that we’re more used to chatting on social networks, Facebook is showing us how we can get online to make these things happen.

A video series on the brand’s YouTube channel shows one gang getting together to turn a couch into a way to ski down a mountain and another pair finding a dance teacher to show them some crazy moves.

Then there’s the guy training a for a marathon in the snow and getting extra motivation from his pals and an outdoorsy trip among friends.
