justONE targets BOTAB revellers with sneaky rockruitment campaign

As the Bacchanalian throng moshed to adland’s gods and goddess of rock at last week’s Battle of the Ad Bands, .99/justONE took the opportunity to shoulder tap—literally—some of those in attendance.

When they weren’t cheering for their ridiculous yet highly entertaining band Reverend Rock and the Rosés, justONE, which is currently looking for a senior account manager or account director, advertised the vacancy by placing a ‘tap, tap’ sticker on the shoulders of the bright young advertising execs in the room and told them to head to taptap.co.nz to see the job description.

“I challenged the creative guys to come up with a more innovative way of attracting interest in the position and BOTAB was too good an opportunity to miss,” says Ben Goodale, managing director .99/justONE. “We’re all about 1-1 communication, and this was a way of achieving it in a loud, overcrowded space.”
