Is it DM?

Everyone loves a quiz. That’s why TVNZ is bringing back Mastermind next year. And the Marketing Association is also putting the industry’s direct knowledge to the test to draw attention to the fact that it’s time to get your entries in for the NZDM Awards.

This year’s call for entries campaign was created by justONE/.99 and as it says on the site: “We now have the tools, the content and the channels to engage people in more exciting and more effective ways than ever before. Compared to even 5 years ago, today’s DM can be hard to recognise. But what haven’t changed are the basic tenets of direct marketing. To find out whether your best DM efforts of the last 12 months have utilised them successfully, put them through the DM Test now. So to see how you stack up, click here.”

Entries are accepted in a variety of categories – industry sector and channel categories, as well as craft categories that celebrate the ‘art’ of the individual elements that contribute to the overall cohesiveness of a campaign. Entrants can also enter categories recognising the vital elements like strategic thinking, innovation, marketing tools and products or services. The two special awards—The Direct Marketer of the Year and the Keith Norris Award for the Direct Marketing Organisation of the Year—allow individual brilliance to be honoured.

Entry forms can be downloaded here. And entries close on October 23.
