Hell launches ‘unruly tourist’ pizza

As the unruly tourists saga continues, Hell Pizza decided to join the conversation with a billboard ‘launching’ a limited edition pizza.

With creative and media from BC&F Denstu, the billboard went up on Friday in Auckland reading ‘Unruly Tourist Pizza – may contain ants and hair’, two items the family claimed was in their food during a string of incidents across the country.

Hell Pizza said, via its Facebook page, that the new pizza would only be available to the tourist family, with terms and conditions stating it is only available to those who have “stolen a rope, trashed a beach, and received a deportation notice in the last seven days.”

This follows on from other Hell Pizza stunts, including the recent ‘3 Little Pigs’ limited edition pizza to launch its free-range meat based offering.

The campaign was themed around the popular children’s story of the same name, with each type of pork – hay-infused pork belly, wood-smoked pork and fennel sausage, bacon lardon bricks – representing how the pigs built their individual houses (hay, wood, and bricks).
