UK-based Healthspan Elite has launched a co-created range of 32 sports and vitamin products that was developed with the All Blacks performance nutritionist, Kat Darry. Wellington-based sports marketing outfit EightyOneX has been tasked with bringing the new range to market in New Zealand.
ECD of EightyOne, Chris Bleackley, comments: “Plenty of sports teams endorse products. Not many actually help develop the product. This was a rare opportunity to collaborate with an ambitious client and a pretty good rugby team.”
Guernsey-based client Rhian Whitchurch, the Head of Brand Marketing at Healthspan, has this to say: “We engaged with EightyOne due to their extensive knowledge of sports partnerships and previous experience of working with the All Blacks. From our first conversation it was clear the team had instantly understood our brief and what we were trying to achieve. The talent within the agency of the highest standard and their enthusiasm a breath of fresh air. We couldn’t be happier with the results which we are now rolling out through our global campaigns.”
The campaign is set to run on Sky TV as well as via MediaWorks radio stations The Rock and More FM. EightyOneX says that advertising at fitness gyms around NZ is set to follow in due course.
