Haines evolves brand to focus on the right people
Advertising agency HainesAttract has simplified its name back to Haines and introduced a refreshed platform.
Founded in 1891, the recruitment, recruitment marketing and employer branding specialist says the change reflects both its heritage and its continued focus on helping New Zealand organisations compete for skilled talent.
Rather than a full rebrand, the move marks a strategic evolution for the business, reaffirming its long-held belief that the right people are fundamental to success.
Captures what matters
Haines CEO Hamish Price says the new platform captures what the business has always stood for.
“For more than 130 years, we’ve been partnering with New Zealand businesses to help them tell their stories and succeed. In the more recent chapters of the Haines story, our focus has been helping them find, attract and retain the talent they need to thrive.
“’The right people’ is a simple line, but it captures exactly what matters most to our clients, and to New Zealand’s future,” Price adds.
The whole country benefits
While the refreshed identity was developed internally by the Haines team, the agency engaged brand and strategy expert David (DT) Thomason to help define and articulate the positioning behind the new platform.
Price says: “Competition for skilled people is intensifying here in New Zealand, and globally. Organisations need to tell their story better, connect with candidates more authentically and reach talent wherever they are in the world. Our role is to help them do exactly that.
“Helping organisations find the right people isn’t just good for business – it’s critical for New Zealand’s growth. When the right people find the right opportunities, organisations move forward, industries strengthen and the whole country benefits.”
