The garden of Sweden

The Swedish Institute has released a promotional clip aiming to inform people about Sweden ‘as is’, bare bums and all.

Sweden. It simply can’t help being a seemingly beautiful haven where folks only have to work six-hour days, can it?

The Swedish Institute has visualised more facts about the country that make it a pretty desirable place to work, visit, or live in.

“’This is Sweden’ showcases facets of life in Sweden ‘as is’. From generous paid parental leave and spontaneous skinny dipping to same-sex marriages and summers that might turn rainy. We want to communicate an authentic feeling of what Sweden is like today,” said Swedish Institute project manager for the film Johan Sundberg.

The clip is filmic, and beautifully shot, showcasing Sweden’s stunning scenery and snapshots of daily life, with a very pretty and emotive soundtrack to boot.

Let’s go!
