Exciting line up for MA’s 2025 Advanced Marketing Leadership program

New Zealand Marketing Association are pleased to announce the 2025 Professional Certification of Advanced Marketing Leadership program.

Back for another year, the programme starts on 29 May and runs across a total of six days over the next two months, finishing up on 1 August.

New Zealand Marketing Association CEO John Miles says the highlights of the programme include an in-person session with global thought leader Thomas Barta, who consults to marketing leaders across the globe.

His session will take the cohort through the 12 powers of the marketing leader, where his book on the same topic is a must read for every present and future CMO, according to fellow author and marketer Seth Godin.

Further speakers include Dr Jim Lecinski of Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management where he is a Clinical Professor of Marketing. He teaches popular courses on Marketing Strategy and Omnichannel Marketing and was named 2022 Kellogg Professor of the Year.

Lecinski is also a global expert on the topic of AI in marketing, formerly worked at Google and has written a book, The AI Marketing Canvas: A Five Stage Roadmap to Implementing Artificial Intelligence in Marketing.

Islam El Dessouky, Global VP Creative Strategy & Content, Coca-Cola, joins the cohort to share his thoughts on Crafting Successful Partnerships with Your Agency.

Plus, the array of Kiwi marketing leaders, marketers of the year, CEO’s, CFO’s and expert trainers will help deliver an exceptional program that will help any aspiring marketing leader grow their career.

Participants have to be nominated by their manager, have at least eight years marketing experience and will need to submit their resume and a 2-minute video on why they should be the next marketing leader and where they need help.
