Doggelganger gets another big bone

It’s the web app that keeps on winning, and after numerous awards for Colenso BBDO and Mars Pedigree’s ‘Doggelganger‘‘, it’s added another prestigious trophy to the cabinet: The Diamond Award at the Direct Marketing Association’s International Echo Awards.

The Diamond Award is the highest accolade and represents the best-in-show campaign across all direct marketing entries. Judged by client-side marketers, agency account directors, and senior creatives, campaigns are assessed based on strategy, creativity, and results. And with this elusive crown.

It follows on from a string of awards in 2011, including Grand Prix, Gold and Bronze at the Spike Awards, Gold and Silver at the Digital Media Awards, Gold and two Silvers at Caples, as well as picking up awards at Cannes, The Work, AWARD, and RSVP and Nexus for a total of 14 honours to date.

Colenso also won a gold for Mountain Dew Skatepark in product manufacturing and distribution, while .99’s New World Easter Hunt, Colenso’s Yellow Local, and justONE’s Whipping up Business for BNZ and Farmlands Party of the Year all made it into fourth place. 

Last year, DraftFCB’s The Journal and Republik’s Fujikistan represented.
