AA Insurance brings together a clash of fantasy versus reality in its latest spot via DDB New Zealand.
‘Dinosaur vs Unicorn’, part of its ‘Live a Little Freer’ platform, shows imagination running free as a dinosaur stalks a unicorn around a family home. The reality is revealed to be a father and daughter playing together before a precious glass pineapple is almost knocked to the ground but thankfully caught.
Gary Steele, executive creative director at DDB New Zealand, says “the objective of ‘Dinosaur vs Unicorn’ was to stray from the standard rhetoric around insurance, and act as a reminder that the best moments in life occur when you embrace the chaos and enjoy the moment, which is only possible when you know you’re insured.”
