Dentsu Aegis Network appoints Patrick Darcy as chief data and technology officer

Dentsu Aegis Network Australia and New Zealand has appointed Patrick Darcy to the role of chief data and technology officer.

With extensive expertise spanning ad tech, data-driven marketing, analytics and programmatic ecosystems, Darcy joins Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) from Cadreon Australia where he’s held a number of leadership roles – most recently chief executive.

As chief data and technology officer, Darcy will be focussed on future-proofing the organisation’s data, technology, and analytics capability to unlock maximum client to consumer value.

Henry Tajer, chief executive officer Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ, says this is a “crucial role for our business. Patrick’s strong platform, partnerships experience and market reputation positions him to make a real impact on our clients and our team.

“We are all very excited about Patrick becoming the latest member of the Dentsu ANZ team; he will make us stronger.”

Darcy says DAN has a “unique set of assets spanning all areas of the marketing ecosystem and a clear vision for how they work together to deliver growth for clients.

“Data and technology sit at the heart of this and I’m incredibly excited to be joining the team at such a pivotal moment for the Network.”

Darcy assumes the new role from December.
