DDB Group Aotearoa has won the highly coveted Campaign Brief New Zealand Agency of the Year Award, for the 7th time.
Chosen by the publishers of Campaign Brief magazine, the award is recognition of the creative work delivered for clients in 2023 as well as the business performance of the agency.
Begun in 1999, Campaign Brief Agency of the Year Award is hotly contested by nearly 50 advertising agencies across New Zealand. DDB last won in 2021 and has regularly taken top spot since the award’s inception.
DDB Group Aotearoa CEO, Priya Patel says Agency of the Year is an acknowledgement of the agency’s work and well deserved recognition for everyone in the Group.
“We are always trying to use creativity to solve real, big, tough client problems and move brands forward in new and meaningful ways. Thank you to all the clients that continue to trust us, partner with us and frankly, force us to lift our game year after year!” Priya said.
Group Chief Creative Officer, Matty Burton said: “I’m really proud of everyone in the building, how they show up, how we manage to just take problems or potential opportunities and turn them into something interesting. The people I get to work with every day are amazing and this award is a reflection of that.
Campaign Brief publisher Michael Lynch said in his announcement, “It’s been a year of highs for DDB Group Aotearoa, an agency laser-focus on delivering big, powerful creative ideas. Winning major awards, clocking up enviable new business wins and hiring some of the region’s most talented people hasn’t gone unnoticed, resulting in the agency being crowned Campaign Brief NZ Agency of the Year.”
