DARKHORSE is celebrating its continued expansion into the Australian market with three new major accounts added to its ever-growing Trans-Tasman roster.
Over the past month, the integrated creative agency has secured contracts with L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand, Range Rover Australia, and Malibu Australia and New Zealand.
The quarter kicked off with full development and execution of the Range Rover House Thredbo, a new curated experience celebrating the Range Rover lifestyle.
News that DARKHORSE has been appointed onto the roster for the Event Management and PR for L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand marks the beginning of new chapter for the two companies, solidifying their six-year relationship.
DARKHORSE has been at the forefront of shaping the beauty landscape in New Zealand over the past decade, responsible for spearheading best-in-class experiences across Luxe, Consumer, Professional and Dermatological beauty divisions for a range of brands within the L’Oréal stable – such as Lancôme, Prada, Giorgio Armani, La Roche-Posay, YSL and Maybelline.
To add to this, DARKHORSE was appointed lead agency for Malibu across Australia and New Zealand this month.
Mike Hewitt, Managing Director and Co-Founder at DARKHORSE, expressed his delight about the three new partnerships.
“This is an exceptionally exciting time of growth and expansion for the DARKHORSE brand, and we’re honoured to step up to the challenge as lead agency for these iconic brands.
“The DARKHORSE team will effectively leverage our expertise in both Australia and New Zealand to create unforgettable experiences, help set new industry standards and drive outstanding results,” he says.
Alongside these account appointments, DARKHORSE has also welcomed a new hire to its growing Australian-based team – Penny Thomas as Events Director.
Thomas joins DARKHORSE with over a decade’s worth of involvement in brand experience across both Australia and the UK. Her knowledge and expertise come from producing countless large-scale consumer experiences, as well as leading experiential and retail campaigns across luxury brands, technology and sporting industries.
“I’m really excited to join the DARKHORSE team and mark the beginning of the next chapter of my career,” says Thomas. “I’m looking forward to supporting the agency in delivering extraordinary experiences for our clients and ensuring we go beyond their expectations to help them smash their goals”.
