Changing the pace of parties

As the popularity of the these guys on YouTube attests, humans are partial to slow motion. And, with the help of Camistry, Burger Fuel decided to slow things down for its Christmas party.

The party was held at BurgerFuel’s international head office in Grey Lynn and, in a similar fashion to Motion Sickness Studio and many other photobooth providersCamistry set up an ultra slow motion video photo booth with the latest cameras from reelfactory. Due to their high frame rates, it had to rig high powered lights to ensure every detail could be captured. It also installed a commercial wind machine as well as a range of other special effects.

During the event, the 300 party-goers were able to go into the slow motion video booth as one of the directors gave them different scenarios to play out. Camistry also set up a live video feed to the main party area. This meant all the guests could enjoy the antics going on inside the booth.

After editing it all as quickly as possible, the completed video gained 4,000 views within 24 hours of being posted across social media platforms.

And if you just can’t get enough slow mo, here’s an ad the Slow Mo Guys did for YouTube recently to promote its Preferred Partners scheme.

And if you’re still in the mood for slowness, here are a few boring live streams that might be up your alley.
