Cannes 2017: Colenso BBDO picks up New Zealand’s first gold for Fonterra ‘Milk Slams’

With Cannes kicking off over the weekend, New Zealand agencies are set to fill their suitcases with Lions – and already celebrating is Colenso BBDO, which has scored a Gold Lion in Cannes Health and Wellness category for its Fonterra ‘Milk Slams’ campaign.

‘Milk Slams’ was one one of seven New Zealand campaigns shortlisted in the Health and Wellness category.

This is the second year in a row Colenso has picked up New Zealand’s first Gold Lion for a Fonterra campaign after ‘Anchor X-Ray Casts’ won in the 2016 Health and Wellness category.

In this year’s winners ‘list, ‘Milk Slams’ was joined by it Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s ‘Meet Graham’ campaign for the Transport Accident Commission Victoria. The thought-provoking Aussie campaign won the Grand Prix Lion for the Health and Wellness category.

There were no New Zealand finalists or winners in the Pharma category.
