Clowns may be particularly frightening this Halloween, following the release if It, but Burger King is putting on a brave face and serving all clowns free Whoppers.
Certain restaurants around the world, including some in South Africa, America and Spain, are marking Halloween night by serving those who go dressed as a clown a free burger.
While this is the first campaign of its kind for Burger King, marking the holiday with a clever stunt is nothing new.
Last year, a New York Burger King dressed up as a ghost of McDonald’s and this year, it’s potentially trolling its rival again by including a Ronald McDonald look-a-like as one of the clowns in its ad.
