Beware of the cursed campaign

Svedka Vodka, a Swedish vodka brand, is haunting its unsuspecting fans for Halloween.

It’s launched a ‘Banner Ad Curse’ campaign that latches on to those who click through to its website from a pre-roll ad on social feeds. It’s there a video plays to warn the viewer they’ve been cursed.

The curse sees the viewer followed around the internet by themed banner ads. The only way to break the curse is to share it with a friend, thus keeping the curse moving.
