Bacardi x Major Lazer x Snapchat

Branded Snapchat lenses are becoming an increasingly popular marketing tool and now, Bacardi is breaking new ground with the idea by creating a music video out of users’ videos.

Featuring snippets of Major Lazer’s song ‘Front the Line’, the lens added flashing lights and Bacardi bottles to users selfies and saw some appear to be in a swirling vortex or in the place of a DJ.

In the first 24 hours of the lens launch, users could share their Snaps with Bacardi, which later put them together to create a two-and-a-half-minute music video.

The Snapchat and Major Lazer partnerships adds to a series of music-themed videos from Bacardi, including ‘Break Free’—also set to ‘Front the Line’—and a video introducing Shokyrme, a Kingston local pushing dancehall into new territory,
