Advertising: it's what's on the outside that counts

The faces have been put forward, the votes have been cast and the six hottest humans in the marcomms biz have been chosen for APNO's inaugural Friends in High Places Advertising’s Next Top Model.

There were 105 nominees and 8587 individual votes placed over three weeks (who said advertising is superficial and narcissistic?), with Gemma Lopas from Saatchi & Saatchi, Maria Bjorkman from Colenso and Lisa Fedyszyn from DDB getting the highest average scores in the hottest ladies department, and Ryan Jordan from Starcom, Tim Smith from Colenso and Shajeed Patel from DraftFCB getting the nod as the hunkiest studs.

The finals party at Racket Bar starts at 6pm Thursday 16 September. And MC Brendhan Lovegrove will objectify the finalists even further by putting them through their paces on the red carpeted catwalk.

It is thought the judging panel, which includes Denise L’Estrange Corbet from World, Neville Findlay from Zambesi and a mystery guest will look very favourably upon candidates that mention their yearning for world peace.
