Stuff appoints new head of marketing

Stuff Group has appointed a new head of marketing role, with the current chief marketing officer of Tourism Fiji returning to New Zealand for the job.

Srishti Narayan, a senior marketing leader with experience across New Zealand, Malaysia and Fiji, will take up the newly established role in June.

For the past three years she has led destination Fiji’s tourism marketing transformation, driving a new brand positioning and digital engagement strategy which received multiple global awards and contributed to three years of record tourist numbers.

Shape the next phase of growth

At Stuff she will drive all group brand and marketing initiatives, including brand development and new product launches, alongside Stuff’s trade, consumer revenue and events marketing teams.

Narayan, formerly Stuff’s head of business customer engagement, says she is delighted to be returning to the organisation as it launches the next stage of its evolution.

“I’ve loved my time at Tourism Fiji and making a contribution to the country’s post-Covid recovery, but returning to such a dynamic media business as Stuff Group at this time is super exciting.

“I really believe in Stuff’s values and vision and I’m looking forward to using my experience to help shape the next phase of the group’s growth.”

The right person at the right time

Stuff Group owner and publisher Sinead Boucher says she is thrilled Narayan is returning for the role.

“Srishti was a standout performer when she was with Stuff previously – she oozes Stuff in terms of her knowledge and understanding of who we are, our personality, audiences and customers.

“We have a huge 18 months ahead of us with some really exciting new projects underway. Having Srishti back in the fold to lead the amplification of this is the right person at exactly the right time.”
