Digital marketing agency Pure SEO recently expanded its team with three strategic hires to further strengthen its core services and company culture.
Angie Bonagua, Marius Tertius Engelbrecht, and Maria Shevchenko joined Pure SEO on May 1, 2023, bolstering the company’s capabilities and enriching its talent pool.
Angie Bonagua has stepped into the position of Office Manager at Pure SEO. She brings her exceptional organisation skills, communication acumen, and management prowess to her role, overseeing day-to-day operations, office maintenance, and human resources coordination. Angie is experienced in visual merchandising, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication and Cultural Studies, and is currently studying Viticulture.
Bonagua expressed her enthusiasm about joining Pure SEO, saying: “The team is friendly and supportive. I enjoy helping others. Advancing my skills is important to me, and I feel I can do that at Pure.”
When she isn’t managing office operations, she’s enjoying her love for wine, travelling, or watching Formula 1.
Marius Tertius Engelbrecht joined as a Business Development Manager, a role that perfectly combines his passion for technology and marketing. He is responsible for conducting marketing research and devising digital marketing strategies to assist companies in gaining a competitive edge. With a BCom degree in Marketing Management and a host of relevant certifications, including digital media and project management, Tertius Engelbrecht brings 14 years of sales and marketing experience to the team, including IT sales and marketing roles at the AZ Group in South Africa.

Outside the office, Tertius Engelbrecht has a soft spot for animals (especially dogs) and is a sports enthusiast who enjoys online gaming and socialising with friends.
Last but not least, Maria Shevchenko joined the Pure SEO family as a Premium Account Manager. Her experience in digital, media, and marketing spans over 15 years and includes roles in several companies, including kōura Wealth and Harrisons. As Premium Account Manager, Shevchenko supports clients’ digital marketing strategies, ensuring account success and growth. Shevchenko is a people person, passionate about helping her clients and bringing them results that improve their business. Her relevant skills include analytical skills, digital strategy, content management, and product development. “I am an extremely ambitious person; I didn’t want to settle for less than the best local digital marketing agency,” says Shevchenko regarding her choice to work for Pure SEO.
Outside of work, Shevchenko loves knitting and has a keen interest in political and social sciences and is considering undertaking a master’s degree in propaganda.
