One Plus One Communications has welcomed two new hires to its growing team. Magenta Boyd and Elysha Taylor have joined the independent communications consultancy as Account Director and Account Manager, respectively.
With over seven years’ experience in the communications industry, Boyd brings a wealth of in-house and agency experience. Boyd’s previous agency experience has seen her deliver award-winning campaigns with large-scale corporates like McDonald’s, Fonterra and Vocus.
She joins One Plus One from the Vodafone New Zealand communications team where she worked on challenging internal and external communications projects for the business, in addition to working closely with Te Rourou, Vodafone Aotearoa Foundation.
The appointment will see her working with a range of clients such as nib, Network for Learning and Comvita on a remit spanning corporate, consumer and social/digital communications.
“I was really impressed by the agency Kelly has built at One Plus One Communications and I’m thrilled to join the team,” says Boyd.

New Account Manager, Taylor, joins the One Plus One team drawing on experience across corporate and consumer PR, having worked previously on a diverse portfolio of clients in sectors spanning Property, FMCG, and Iwi.
Taylor says she’s excited about the breadth of opportunities that her new role will bring and is relishing getting started.
“I already feel like I’m expanding my skillset working across some of One Plus One’s impressive client line-up. The team here are all such talented consultants; it’s a great environment to be a part of,” shares Taylor.
Managing Director, Kelly Bennett, says he’s thrilled with the two new additions to the team.
