Joining Ogilvy from DDB Aotearoa, Sykes’ role will focus on providing integrated brand strategy services across the suite of Ogilvy clients.

“We’re thrilled to have Tom joining the fold. His invaluable skills and experience as a brand strategist and strong leadership qualities complement our capabilities across the network. He brings new strategic thinking to our clients, particularly with his focus on customer experience.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time at Ogilvy with a fast growing team. This year we’ve re-positioned the Ogilvy brand in the market and we’ve got fantastic momentum. I’m delighted to have Tom as part of the leadership team, bringing fresh energy and thinking to how we continue to shape our business offering,” says Megan Clark Cook, Managing Partner at Ogilvy NZ.

Of his new appointment, Sykes comments: “I was particularly attracted to the Ogilvy team because of the network’s dynamic approach to truly integrated ways of working. Also, the opportunity to work with a powerful and deeply accomplished leadership team, including Megan and Ogilvy Network CEO, KAM.”
