A pair of appointments

Ooh Media has appointed Sarah Yetton to a new group sales leader role in the Auckland office and welcomed Christie Tanner back to the team as channel manager for street furniture.

To her new role, Yetton brings magazine publishing experience as well as agency experience, having held roles at FCB and production house Liquid Studios. 

Prior to joining Ooh Media, Yetton was agency sales director for Bauer Media.

In the announcement, head of sales for oOh! New Zealand Ben Gibb said Yetton’s extensive experience and expertise in the media and advertising industries, together with her exceptional relationships and reputation among key clients, made her a great asset as Ohh Media looks to develop its integrated offering in New Zealand. 

Meanwhile, long-term Ooh Media staff member Tanner has been welcomed back.

Riding the wave

Wave Creative Communications Agency in Tauranga has promoted Craig Parker to the role of creative director.

Parker joined the agency 11 months ago as art director.

He brings 10 years’ experience to the role, having started his career as an intern at the agency in 2009 before working at advertising and design agencies in the UK, Australia and most recently, Auckland.

Bright Spark

Spark New Zealand will soon have a new customer director on its Leadership Squad with Grant McBeath joining 1 July.

McBeath joined the business in 2013 as general manager of Sales for the Spark consumer and SMB business. He had a period of six months as acting CEO for Spark Home, Mobile and Business prior to becoming channel leader of consumer and SMB when Spark transitioned to its agile ways of working.

McBeath also brings experience from his time in global executive roles for companies including Nokia.

Coming home

Mondelēz International in New Zealand has welcomed William Papesch who joined to head up its local marketing team.

Papesch will oversee the Auckland based marketing team and manage brands within the local market including Cadbury, Pascall, The Natural Confectionery Company, belVita and Oreo.

He’s spent the last nine years with Heineken in various marketing roles in cities across the globe. Prior to Heineken, he spent four years with Auckland-based food manufacturer Hansells Food Group. Papesch has garnered more than 40 local and international marketing awards, including a prestigious Cannes Gold Lion.

About Papesch’s appointment, Cara Liebrock, managing director at Mondelēz International New Zealand said: “He has great depth in his experience across FMCG and is known for his innovation, collaboration, and fresh thinking.”
