Digitas New Zealand has announced the appointment of Gavin Becker as Managing Director, Digitas NZ.
Becker will be joining General Manager – Client Services, Nick Peat and General Manager – Data, Technology and Operations, Peter Gibson in the daily running of the business within New Zealand, supported by Adrian Farouk, CEO of Digitas ANZ.
A digital veteran with more than 20 years’ international experience and expertise in design thinking, strategy and customer-centred methods, Becker brings a deep knowledge of customer experience, data and insight, product development and emerging technologies to the role.
Becker founded a digital experience and strategic innovation consultancy called North in 2019, helping companies accelerate innovation to build lasting value and capabilities across their customer value chain. Previously, he has held roles as the Head of Digital, Innovation & Ventures at Colenso BBDO and most recently, as the Managing Director of Isobar/ Dentsu NZ.

Digitas has recently been appointed to the Westpac marketing and communications agency roster, as the lead CRM, data and customer communication partner. This follows an ongoing period of growth momentum in business and team alike.
