DDB Aotearoa promotes three to new roles

DDB Aotearoa has announced the promotion of three of its employees to new roles within the company with Veronica Copestake promoted to the role of Creative Director, Mitch Young to Lead Business Partner, and Hanna Pettit to Business Partner.

Copestake, has been with DDB for more than seven years, has an impressive track record of developing successful campaigns for a wide range of clients and her expertise in copywriting has helped create some of the agency’s most memorable campaigns. Working across a wide range of clients in the agency, Copestake was recently involved in notable work including ‘Whatever your Christmas Wish’ for The Warehouse and McDonald’s ‘We Speak Late Night.’

“I’m honoured to take on this new challenge and excited to help create even more innovative and impactful campaigns for our clients. With this leadership role, I’m especially looking forward to being a mentor to female creatives who are looking to build a career in the industry,“ Copestake says.

Mitch Young has been a crucial member of DDB for almost seven years, his contributions continue to drive the agency’s success by delivering exceptional results for clients such as VW and Mobil. In his new role as Lead Business Partner, he will continue to lead these key DDB clients.

“I’m thrilled to be taking on this role at DDB. I look forward to diving into the upcoming work with team and together deliver some stellar results for our clients,“ says Young.

Hanna Pettit has also recently been promoted to a Business Partner after more than four years with DDB. Pettit has worked across a variety of brands from The Warehouse and Goodman Fielder to Lion, Pfizer and Sealord and as Business Partner will be responsible for driving the key relationships and continue their great work.

“I am really excited to step-up into this new role. I’m fortunate enough to work with a fantastic group of clients and can’t wait to keep collaborating with them to deliver exciting new work for their brands,” says Pettit.
