Cousins returns for senior Lotto NZ gig

After almost two years as global head of strategy for PHD’s Unilever business in London, Guy Cousins is set to return to New Zealand to take up the chief marketing officer role with Lotto NZ. He replaces Val Green, who held the role of general manager of marketing for almost two years before departing in May.

“Guy has an impressive track record as a strategic thinker and creative leader,” says Lotto New Zealand’s chief executive Wayne Pickup. “I’m delighted with this appointment and excited about the impact I know Guy will have on Lotto New Zealand’s business and brand.”

Cousins’ previous roles include managing partner for Naked Communications New Zealand, head of strategy for PHD Media New Zealand and business director at Starcom.

“Lotto New Zealand has a great legacy and an exciting future. I’ve been impressed by the vision and energy behind Lotto,” says Cousins.

Cousins will be returning to Auckland to start his new role in early December.
